About the Author
ROSA PARKS was an inspiring American activist in the civil rights movement best known for her pivotal role in launching the Montgomery bus boycott. She died in 2005.

His works received numerous honors, including the Coretta Scott King Author Award and the Carter G. Woodson Award.
